Type 2 Cannabis

Type 2 is a Type of Cannabis plant. Types are not to be confused with species (Sativa, Indica, Ruderalis) or strain (Blue Dream, Sour Diesel).

Type 2, also stylized as Type II, is weed which is not grown to be high THCa, much like most weed these days. CBD, among other cannabinoids, are more present. Some say the high is similar to older weed, and others say it is more gratifying.

Differences from Type 1

  • Increased Appetite
  • Increased Drowsiness
  • More likely to cause bouts of giggling
  • More inebriating, causing couch-lock and preventing work

Unlike Type 1, and especially concentrates, Type 2 shouldnt be done as a quick break. Type 1 can be utilized by some, especially those with a higher tolerance, as a more “daytime” high. Type 2 will begin slowing down and relaxing. Therefore, it shouldn't be used on a break or as quick high.

Buying

When buying Type 2 Flower, you will typically run into ratios and proportions. This is referring to the ratio of CBD to THC. It is common to see, 1:2, 3:4, 5:3, 2:1

The level of THC is not always given, and the ratio must be worked out. For example: A 5% CBD 1:2 comes out to 5% CBD : 10% THC A 5% CBD 3:4 comes out to 5% CBD : 6.67% THC
