===== Quick Description =====

**Occurrence:** When Delta-9-THC is ingested, the liver turns it into 11-hydroxy-THC. This can be bought in a lab-made setting, but is **not recommended**.

**Psychoactive:** //Yes//

**Effects:** A much stronger THC. Some cannabinoids are not properly heated, or properly digested. It seems that indica-esque cannabinoids/terpenes stick around moreso through the cooking process. Because of this, most edibles are sleepy/giggly.

**Potency:** About 10x-11x as potent, thanks liver!

**Discovery:** 1941

**Note:** - The best way to get 11-hydroxy is to eat weed. The worst way is vapes. 11-hydroxy-THC is not nearly as heat-stable as THCa, meaning much of it is being destroyed. Also, it is not fully known if 11-hydroxy-THC is absorbed into the lungs as readily as other forms.
